Completely overwhelmed by the response I’ve been receiving to my article on why there are still so few women in the hard sciences, math, engineering, computer science … Deeply gratifying on every level, though so upsetting to hear so many stories of discouragement and outright discrimination from other women (of all ages) and students/scientists/engineers of color. For now, all I have the chance to do is post a link to the article and a brief interview on NPR, but I will come back once the chaos has died down and try to provide some sort of forum for a conversation. Will also provide updates on the status of the book. Thanks so much, everybody!
